I found this fossil in a County Mayo in Ireland. I looked over a geology map of the locality and best I could deduce is that this maybe from the Carboniferous. Any thoughts?

Welcome from Ireland. Colonial coral and a section through a brachiopod. Yes, Carboniferous.

I agree, Carboniferous colonial rugose coral, a lithostrotionid. Probably Siphonodendron sp., possibly Diphyphyllum sp. (with brachiopod).
