I have been driving to some of my favorite locations and taking long walks....collecting fossils.

I do it alone so I figure I'm only maybe sorta kinda going against the rules.

Today I have been making miniature frames to set off our pixelated embroidery’s art works . They was a lot harder the making full size frames .

I was able to make a trip up to the Salmon River on Monday. I fished for about 2 hours and had my favorite section of river all to myself. I managed to hook up with a Steelhead, for a minute or two before it unhooked itself. Today I went to a popular local trout stream. Though there were quite a few people, everyone appeared to keep their distance from one another. I managed to get my favorite spot on this stream to myself, with the exception of the kids who live at the property. The parents have let fisherman access the property providing you stay at the waters edge. One of the boys fished a distance from me for a bit and we chatted. My friend showed up and practiced social distancing by fishing across from me on the opposite bank. It was alot of fun. I landed 5 fish but only kept 3. But there were many other fished that chased my flies, so there was plenty of action.

Yesterday I took my 2 youngest kids to shoot BB guns and then took them to a park in which my favorite trout stream runs through. We didnt fish. We just watched others doing so, while we walked the trail and enjoyed fresh air. Today I wanted to see my older son. Him and his sister (who is my oldest child) live with their mom. Since they live in a different household, I have not seen them as much as I would like as we are all trying to social distance. But it is hard when you have to social distance from your own family. But I know it is in the best interest for everyone. So today I drove over to their house. My daughter was working. My Son David met us outside and we all went for a walk in their neighborhood and when we got back to the house we sat outside and talked for awhile. Atleast I got to see him in person but it was hard not giving him a hug. Same thing happened when I saw my daughter the other day. She works in the seafood department at a grocery store and she told me at least one co-worker had tested positive. She had also complained to me that some of her other co-workers were coughing and not even covering their mouths. I had managed to get my hands on a small amount of masks so I brought them to her job and spoke to her briefly. Before I left I wanted to hug her but I knew that it wasn't a smart decision. I cant believe it has come to this. Despite this I am really trying to stay positive. I just love my family so much and hug and kisses from my kids mean alot to me.

Bobby, do you really think it's wise to play favoritism with your loved ones?  You're going to make all the other needlepoints jealous!
