Mitteldevon = Middle Devonian

Frankreich = France

Steinbruche / Strbr = quarry

Eifel is a very famous region for Devonian fossils in Germany, and so famous it even gets its own geologic stage (Eifelian, which is in the Middle Devonian).

Givetium = Givetian (another stage of the Devonian)

Kreide, Cenoman = Cretaceous, Cenomanian.

I think you can leave everything else as is.

Escale is a place in France.

I just looked up 'Escale' on Wikipedia, and there is an Escales in southern France, but also a L'Escale in Provence. I'm not sure which one was meant.. you might want to ask for clarification on that.
