BadlandTraveller
Just wondering on this guy.... The sail seems to be 100% vertical which would mean it was at or very near the center of mass. Since there is only one sail vert that should sit completely vertical and the others showing a tilt I'm curious what you all thought of this specimen.

LordTrilobite
This is a dorsal vertebra, not caudal. The spine is indeed quite straight. We don't know a lot about the whole sail of Spinosaurus and Sigilmassasaurus. Maybe they had different sails. Or maybe there was even a lot of variation within species as well. Overall I think it looks like a very nice specimen. And I don't see any work done on the spine itself. The centrum has some damage and modified areas I think though. Both the front and the back of the centrum look odd due to the damage. It also make the centrum look shorter. The neural arch of this specimen looks quite good. The neural arch also seems to be well fused to the centrum. So this might be from an older individual. Here are also some more closeups that you didn't post yet. 8 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
