Unidentifiable tooth fragment?

Recommended Posts

Buns

Found what appears to be a tooth fragment. It was found in creek in Monmouth County.  It’s not conical but semi flat which would eliminate Mosasaur, Croc or such I would imagine. The tip is white which is very unusual. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

This looks to me like an Enchodus palatine fang tip.

Thanks for the quick response.  I think Al nailed it on the Sawfish. I compared it to some other specimens I had and it came pretty close to one that was extremely small. I just never noticed it. Much appreciated.
