Possible Bison bones from a sandbar

The kids and I were recently on a sandbar in the Kansas river and came across some bones. 
 

I believe there are bison bones, though some may be more modern.

Looks like bison vertebrae and femur to me, but I am way short of being an expert with bones idntification, so wait for some others to respond.

Mark has it right -- it's a femur.
