Center cow Calvert cliffs

Hi Randy here. A friend of mine found this tooth today along Calvert cliffs.its a center cow but is it pathological?

So awesome!  I would do anything to find one of them. Definitely on my bucket list. My bucket is pretty big.

It does appear to be pathological. Great find, I remember when I found mine. I was really excited!

Could we get some better more in focus pics of the tooth only. Not in your hand.

It is a symphyseal Notorhynchus. But I do not think I would call it pathological. There is great variation in symphyseal teeth and cowsharks show sexual dimorphism in their teeth. I also think it is just water worn.

Really nice tooth, doesn’t look that worn to me. I think that is a patho, looks like serrations in the middle of the crown
