Scale? Shell? Scute?

Found in Venice FL, in a mixed shell andarine life pile. Not sure what it is, maybe someone does.

Looks like partial tooth.

Looks a bit like a (partial) Paleolama mirifica tooth. @Harry Pristis can weigh in more authoritatively.

I think Ken has it right -- a fragment of lamine camel cheek tooth.  The common Pleistocene species in Florida are Hemiauchenia and Paleolama.
