I’ve never found something like those before and thought they might be some kind of coral but I don’t what from. Yep, Conularids, odd extinct relatives of corals and jellyfish. Rarity depends on where you are. Others more familiar with Michigan fauna may tell us how rare/abundant they are up your way.
