Guessing it is some type of clam from regular ridges on outer part of piece; inside piece has blackish "softer smoother" piece than outer hard piece. Has striations like gills or hair? Is soft tissue normally found in fossils? Kind of thought they would be the first thing to dissolve when something dies; if so what is it? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
