Big Iguanodon Vertebra

I’ve been sorting out some old fossils during the lockdown and just had a stand made for this big iguanodon vertebra. The stand was made by Friargate Forge in Preston.

It’s hard to photo and prep was really difficult.

Big is right...very nice.  Stand looks great because it does not detract from vert almost invisible and is beefy

The blacksmith who does these stands is very talented. The stands are very robust and quite heavy so there’s so chance of them tipping over.

Very nice! The stand is great! Strong yet hidden, as not to distract from the fossil.
