Tooth like think found in India

While it has a suggestive shape, I think this is just a water/sand polished stone. 

I don't see a fossil tooth here.  Sorry.

Thank you for the responses and the welcome. What a lovely community! I do hope I find some real fossils soon; in India it's difficult to find anything undisturbed, but I'll try my luck. :)

Beaches are always great places to look. Waves bring in new material constantly to renew the supply of interesting things.
