  Hello,

I'm looking for an ID on a relatively well preserved marine fossil found in a south florida gravel bed with many bivalve and brachiopod fossils nearby. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Quite a few bivalve shells in Florida developed yellow Calcite crystals inside and are relatively sought after by collectors.

Good find!

Thank you, it is definitely calcite within. Right now my working theory is that it's a Tagelus species.
