Zarn
Recently I discovered the joy of fossil collection and hunting ( thanks Covid19 , you can go away now). I have primarily been finding things in eastern Wisonsin and from the Silurian reef that used to be here. A couple of days ago I found an area with some weird looking fossils. They almost look like tentacles or worms . I am really unsure what they are. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. I am a novice at this but have been reading up and educating myself as much as I can . Thank you ! Edited April 23, 2020 by Zarn

fifbrindacier
Hi, welcome from France. Could you take pics of the other sides of each piece ? The second one has a spongy loo although. connorp
The first one might be a cross section of an orthoconic nautiloid or maybe an infilled burrow, or maybe nothing at all. Some more pictures would help.

Zarn
Much to my disappointment this appears to be chert in the limestone. Thanks everyone.
