Jenstar
Hi, I would really appreciate an ID on these crustaceans found 2019 at Miami, Mermaid And Nobby beaches on the Gold Coast, Australia. I've done some basic research and came up with Pliocene era. Thankyou so much! Edited April 27, 2020 by Jenstar Wrong photo

RJB
Hi Jenstar. If it were me, I would go back to that beach and try to find where they are coming from. Try finding them still in the concreted material so as to get more compplete specimens. good luck RB

RuMert
So many crabs casually found on the beach while in our Jurassic any crustaceans are extremely rare. Each of them would be the find of the year for me . Interesting how abundance of animal types differs depending on place and period. 1 My sites & reports

I've spoken to a few locals like me who like fossils and they said there were even huge shark teeth that washed up! So lucky!
