tubular trace fossils ID?

New to geology, so excuse my paltry terminology.

Description: Tubes, many branching, between 1-3cm in diameter, in places as thick as a forest root system, material very sandstone-y, surrounding material clay.

from my research these seem like burrow casts of... worms? tetrapods? do burrow casts form in such abundance?

Looks like a burrow to me, could be from worms or crustaceans. Burrow fossils can be extremely abundant.  Welcome to TFF!
