MrBones
Hello, I believe that this is a fossilized sea urchin, it might not look so, but I do see a resemblance. It appears to be made out of gypsum, or another soft crystal. I was wondering If iy would be wise to dip it in vinigar. Would you be able to see some more details? Or will the wjole thing just dissolve?

Coco
I don't know if it is a sea urchin, but generaly they are in calcite, and vinegar wil destroy it if it is one. Uncle Siphuncle
Looks like it could be a cassiduloid or similar with part of the test already weathered or dissolved away. 3 Grüße, Daniel A. Wöhr aus Südtexas "To the motivated go the spoils."
