Rockwood
The shape is a bit confusing, but I'm leaning toward it being a broken tibia.
LordTrilobite
Possible scapula. Would like to see the other side and also how thick/thin it is. Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite
Harry Pristis
Not a tibia, not a scapula (at least, not a mammal scapula) because it is missing the reinforcing spine on the distal side. I'm thinking ilium. Now, all the mammals I know of have ilium fused to the ischium and pubis. Not so with the reptiles. It doesn't at all resemble a 'gator ilium: but, It may be an ilium from a giant tortoise. Or, it could be something else entirely. 2 http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Glad to see it narrowed down To the OP, some info about where it was found, formation, age, etc would help a lot with getting an ID "There is no shortage of fossils.
