Cleaning a sharks tooth

Very nice, could you please explain what you did to get this tooth looking so nice?

First I used a Paasche-Spray-Eraser. The compound I used in the Eraser was baking soda. I then used a buffing wheel with jewelers rouge

Be easy on the root. In most cases I prefer no polish on the root. Just cleaning

Also, hang tight to those suckers. If you turn it the wrong way when putting it into the spinning buffing wheel, it will be snatched out of your hand and flung across the room

Thanks,. Some things look pretty crummy when you first lay eyes on them. But sometimes there is a jewel underneath. I have found stunningly beautiful seashells on the bottom of the ocean (offshore), that were so covered with cr*p, there was no way to tell what was underneath.
