Hi folks,

Need some help with this fossil being advertised as a Tarbosaurus claw.

Seller says it's from Mongolia (doesn't know formation) and that it is about 1 inch in length.

Seller provided no other useful information so my apologies if this isn't very descriptive.

If it is from Mongolia I would think that it would be theropod indet? Would appreciate some input on it!

Here is what a Tarbo claw should look like for comparison.

Would it be fair to say theropod indet then? And does the preservation line up with other Mongolian fossils?

Troodon

Preservation looks like Mongolia.  However the lack of a well defined blood groove on both sides and that flare out on the left side says its probably not theropod.
