Help with identification please.

Scale - mm.
Western Ukraine, Lviv region.
Neogene, Miocene.

After some google image searches, maybe it's Carcharias sp. tooth. I won't be surprised if I'm wrong.

I know very little about the shark species from the faunas in Ukraine.  The general tooth features of the posted tooth look like a Miocene sandtiger tooth like Odontaspis or Carcharias.

I can't venture a guess on the id, but I love the preservation. Amazing color on the root, looks like carmalized sugar
