Another Lost River Mystery Fossil

This one is very strange guys. I was cleaning my fossils off and had noticed this strange shape - I thought it was dirt until it didn’t wash off. I found this in the Middle-Devonian aged Lost River roadcut near Wardensville.

It’s got a thick outline that comes off the shale a little bit, but it shows up pretty bizarre on the camera. Let me know if I need to upload different images. Thanks everyone.

I don't see any indications of fossil. Looks like a pattern of mineral staining, maybe iron oxide stains.
