Is Lake Texoma low enough to fossil hunt in June?

The back end of our vacation plans got blown out of the water by covid19 so we are making some adjustments. Currently we are slated to be at Theissen quarry in OK in late June.  Any chance the water at Lake Texoma is low enough to make it worth the ride?  Or any other suggestions in that general region? I am heading east/northeast for home in PA after.

Texoma is currently 2 feet over “full”. I would go instead to Post Oak Creek in Sherman, spillway at Jacksboro or Mineral Wells instead. See some parks and museums too if they are open: the Heard in McKinney that has local fossil displays: the Perot Museum in Dallas and Dinosaur State Park near Glen Rose that has lots of dino tracks.

Have fun.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
