Huge unidentified tooth

Ok so i have this tooth for years now.. My dad dug it out in coal mine in Bosnia, and i would really like to know from what kind of animal is it.. i was pointed to this forum so here it is.. i hope for some interesting comments..

Neat. Give us some other view of the tooth. A guess based on size: a mastodon.

 

Give us the locality and age of the rocks at the coal mine. 

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

I am not expert in any of this so i have no idea of age of rocks in that mine, but it is located in Bosnia in mine called Gračanica between towns called Gornji Vakuf and Bugojno. Tooth is in my possession for around 25-28 years now, and it was basicly a decor object in home. I will be posting some more angles soon.. and sorry for my broken english as well..

How unusual!  It has the size and the cingulum of a Lophiodon sp. tooth, but this is not a guess, just a reminder not to be limited to more recent and familiar animals.

I spent some time looking for similar tooth on net.. couldnt find one.. it might be my lack of knowledge and vocabulary in thise area..
