Is this a good choice of tools?

Hello, recently I've been using tools that my great grandfather owned (still in great condition), but I know I will not be able to use these forever. I saw this and thought it looked like a good set of tools, would it be a good choice? The hammer weighs 1kg. Also, is a tool belt recommended on fossil hunting trips?

Thanks.

Get an Estwing geology pick. They will last a lifetime. I like an Estwing E6-24PC because it’s large head means that you are less likely to hit your hand when using a chisel. I also use it for driving tent stakes, digging holes and climbing hillsides.
Then get a set of good locally made chisels.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

Thanks, I already have an Estwing geology pick, I thought this larger hammer would be good for the harder rock.

Get an Estwing crack hammer or similar one with a one piece metal head and handle. The one you show is dangerous because the wood handle might crack or shrink and detach from the head. In my life, I have had several (regular) hammer heads fly off wooden handles. I have never had a problem with an Estwing
