Is this tooth real?

Hi guys I recently purchased this Megalodon tooth and I'm pretty sure it's real but I wanna know what you guys think. :)

Most fakes or restorations are made to make the tooth look pristine. 

Yours is very nice, but the rough shape it is in indicates to me that it is genuine. ;)

 Nice acquisition.  I am sure you realize you have a little extra on this tooth; The red circles denote feeding damage. The shark was continuously chomping down on meat/bone and this tooth came loose (as they always do) but before it could get out of the way, the shark bit its own tooth!!! I actually like teeth with these marks.
