Is this tooth real?

Hi guys I recently purchased this Megalodon tooth and I'm pretty sure it's real but I wanna know what you guys think.

Most fakes or restorations are made to make the tooth look pristine. 

Yours is very nice, but the rough shape it is in indicates to me that it is genuine.

 Nice acquisition.  I am sure you realize you have a little extra on this tooth; The red circles denote feeding damage. The shark was continuously chomping down on meat/bone and this tooth came loose (as they always do) but before it could get out of the way, the shark bit its own tooth!!! I actually like teeth with these marks.
