DomesticOnion
Last month I went took my first trip to the North Sulphur River and while sifting through some gravel I found this. It is 16 mm long and 7 mm wide and resembles a bone to me, but I am no expert. Does anyone know what it is?
jpc
I am going to guess turtle toe bone. There are marine turtles in the NSR, are there not?
DomesticOnion
Thanks for the ID! I think some protostega bones have been pulled out but I am unaware of any other species.
