Mystery Gastropod from the Kalkberg Formation

I’m almost done prepping this gastropod I found a couple weeks ago at the roadcut along Rickard Hill Rd. in Schoharie, NY, but I am unsure of the species. It is from the Lower Devonian Kalkberg formation.

From the photos I'm seeing what looks more like a brach than a gastro.  Could you provide more photos, say of the sides and back?

Here are some more photos. It doesn’t show it as much in the first photos, but this fossil is pretty tall to be a brachiopod.

Are you thinking that it's something like Platyceras conicum (although I'm not sure if that species extends back to lower Devonian).

I think some of us may have confused this area for a beak of a brachiopod.   Maybe this is just an illusion from the photo?

I could see this being a Platyceras.

I’m thinking this is some sort of platyceras gastropod. The thing in the top of the photo is just where the tip of the fossil broke off, it’s not a beak or anything like that.
