how do i clean this dirt stained favosites fossil

today In our horse pasture  I found this large dirt stained favosite fossil 

what would be the best way to clean the fossil 

here is a photo of the fossil

Hey Matt! 

That is another nice BIG one!  :) 

Very cool. 

 

I would try rinsing it off with a hose, then scrubbing with a toothbrush or hand brush.

Hot water and bleach. Scrub with brush rinse and air dry.

Many times I've wondered how much there is to know.
