ID-concretions?

I found these in a creek near taughannock  falls (Tompkins county, NY). Are these concretions? Do they possibly contain fossils inside? Thanks!

2. About 40 cm in diameter, with an interesting protrusion on a side

You're getting the hang of this! :) 

 

Have you tried to split any in half? 

There are hard dolostone/limestone concretions in Western NY. that have very well preserved fossils, sometimes in pyrite.

Thanks, Tim. Was very tempted but it was in a state park where collection is not allowed :(

A sledge hammer makes a fine walking stick. Just be careful where you drop it. :)
