Nautiloid
I found all of these last year in Albany County, New York. They are from the Manlius formation. Some of them I just need the species name and others I have no idea what they are. Thanks
Nautiloid
1: I have no idea what this is but it seems to be multiple organisms of the same species that are connected at the base.
Nautiloid
2: This might be some sort of ostracod but I just thought it had interesting texture.
Nautiloid
3: I know this is a bivalve but I’m unsure of the species.
PrehistoricWonders
The first one looks kind of like a trilobite, I’m not sure about the second one, and I agree the third looks like some sort of bivalve
Fossildude19
First one looks like a platycerid gastropod to me. Can you take pictures outside, and from directly above the fossil? These oblique views make it tough to ID anything. 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Fossildude19
Hard to say, without more prep being done. It could be a conglomeration of something like Aulopora. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Nautiloid
@Fossildude19 Is it possible it might be some species of Cornulites?
