Gramps

Recommended Posts

Folks,

I found this fossil mollusk from a shale deposit in Northeastern Oklahoma. The shale is of Pennsylvanian age (probably Chanute formation), and contains other marine fossils. I would appreciate any help with ID.

Best wishes.

Looks like Trepospira, a common Pennsylvanian species in north Texas.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
