Hello,

I found this jawbone in Manatee County, Florida. The piece I found is about 3” long, 1” tall and .5“ wide. Please help with ID.  Many thanks :)

Could it be croc/alligator?

Hmm, the tooth holes seem too small and flat.. right!? It size and shape is the holes in the one in question seems more akin to a Barracuda...?!??  This I found there too and I believe to be gator as the tooth holes are nice and round for those big Ol’ Florida gator teeth

I think it's from an odontocete mandible.

Harry beat me to it. Partial whale/porpoise/dolphin jaw. When I find those, I just label them as "dolphin jaw section".  :)
