FOH
I've recently been snooping around Early Jurassic Towaco formation exposures in Northern New Jersey. Although I didn't find much, I found this which looks like it could be something but I can't tell what it is. Any help would be great. Thanks! Fossildude19
Looks to me like a piece of conifer stem, possibly Brachyphyllum scotti. Congratulations on a rare and cool find. Here it is, compared to one of mine: 5 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Thanks for the help everyone. Glad to know it isn't some random mineral deposit.
