Please correct me if I am wrong.... But I'm guessing a fossil like this would be pretty expensive. I'm only curious so I can prepare myself for the reality of never being able to own one. It looks great though.

MOROPUS
Before the shop close some years ago, I manage to "rescue" some more Liaoning stuff. Two more fishes (same specie, but less detailed), and a rare plant (with some restorations). The fishes where send to two museums. Next time I will post the veggie stuff... fossilis
Hello pleecan, I have no fossil of Liaoning, but here is some photos made by a friend of me, Damien LELOUP, French, director of the museum of the geologic park and the paleontology of Lioaning. Constructed hardly two years ago, to Yixian, near Jinzhou situated at 4 am in the northeast of Peking by the highway. RCFossils, your fossil is simply amazing. It is a true museum piece and I would expose this fossil as soon as possible at your place. MOROPUS
Hello Moroplus, Here are some photos made in a shop on a road in the region of Liaoning, you should recognize some specimens of the same species as Peipiaosteus Pani. In the second pic, just in the right side, second row from the bottom, I can see some plant material. I`ve got a plate with something very similar to that, and I cannot ID it. Do you know what is it?
