Ghost shrimp?

This little guy caught my eye and so I picked him up, brought him home, and cleaned him up. Hoping that he is part of a ghost shrimp claw. Few other finds last week but nothing too spectacular or what I already don’t have in my mini collection.

I don't think this is a ghost shrimp claw.  This looks geological in origin, to me.   

 

I suppose it might be an internal cast of a claw, but I am not seeing the typical black exoskeleton material you normally see on Ghost shrimp bits. 

I'd keep it as an odd conversation piece.

I do have a fossil claw part with the black exoskeleton like exterior (also from the brook) and so I’ll file this imposter guy away.
