Help with ID'ing unknown frond-looking fossil from Silurian Waldron Shale

Hello!  I was wondering if you guys could help me ID this fossil.  I found it in the Waldron Shale (Middle Silurian) collecting piles that the Falls of the Ohio State Park (SE Indiana) sets out for guests to rummage through (they get their shale piles from the Sellersburg Quarry, Sellersburg IN, Clark Co).  I wasn't sure if it is part of a crinoid, burrows, or some sort of frond-type bryozoan or coral.  I have August F. Foerste's Silurian Fauna of KY document but didn't see anything in his figures that caught my eye.  The ruler in my photo shows the centimeter side.  The true color of the shale is more blue-gray but I have a desk lamp with a warm white bulb on it which is giving the pic a false yellowish hue.  Thanks in advance for your help and expertise.

Hi TK241,

Looks like you have a negative impression of half of a Lichid Trilobite pygidium (trilobite tail). Rather uncommon in the Waldron. A whole Lichid Trilobite would be very rare. The picture is of an Arctinurus boltoni, but looks very close to what the Waldron Lichid - Arctinurus occidentalis looks like.

Wow, really?  Boy was I completely off-base!  Could you help me to orient myself in this fossil?  Is what I was seeing as the "stem" at the 6:30 position the part closest to the axial ring?

Thanks guys!  Really appreciate your fast ID and help with orientation.  Wow - I need to go back and (hopefully) find the rest of him.  What a beauty!

The Trilobite pictured is an Arctinurus boltoni

It may not be the same genus/species as this at your location, but a similar Lichid trilobite.
