Possible ID of Trepospira sphaerulata from a local gastropod expert, but he isn’t sure.

Similar ones in a group with original specimen at the right. Left is suspect of being related, but it might be.

I haven't really had an ID on this one. After gaining at least a couple more years of experience collecting and researching late Pennsylvanian gastropods, I can conclude that this is probably just a smashed Strobeus. These often get morphed due to their thin shells.

 

I have considered Trepospira illinoisensis, but there is no beaded ornament shown.
