Petrified Wood from Triassic in Pennsylvania

I found 4 nice good-size specimens of petrified wood, from the Newark Basin Triassic sedimentary deposits, in southeastern Pennsylvania.

Photo shows that all pieces are a light chocolate brown color. There is a quarter coin for scale.

These are from the same location where I previously found two large specimens, which I posted a few years ago.

This material seems to be rather scarce.

Great finds! Congratulations and thanks for posting it. I have collected Triassic fish fossils in New Jersey, but I have yet to see any petrified wood from there.

Very nice! Are those really from PA? I especially like the orange one in the lower left hand corner. Reminds me of a piece I found in Arizona.

Pretty neat!

I haven't found any petrified wood in the Hartford or Deerfield basins, at all.
