TheBeard Posted August 4, 2020 Share Posted August 4, 2020 I found what I assume to be a fossil or trace fossil, but I have no idea what it is. Found this on a bed of other rocks on the bank of a creek in south-central Kentucky. I'm sorry the measurements are in imperial, I could not find a metric ruler. I am thinking it is a lepiodendron or the stigmaria (root structure) but not the species that I mostly see, the other fossil it resembles is impression of a pine cone. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
