Hi.  Here are some cool finds from the past week after going through the Lee Creek matrix.  I feel pretty confident in most of my IDs.  Couple of them I have no idea.  Thanks for any feedback!  Much appreciated in advance!  Enjoy the pictures.

1.  I believe this is a catshark tooth - scyliorhinus

2.  Tope shark - Galeorhinus

3.  I have found a couple of these teeth that are identical to this heart shaped tooth.

5. I thought this was Dogfish Shark but the more i look at the root, i think I am wrong.

4.  Is this a mouth plate from a fish?

5. I think this is going to be put in the  Fish tooth pile.

6. Is this a broken tip of whale or dolphin tooth?  Normally i would just assume fish tooth but it looks different than the others I have found.

I can't help with the IDs, but great finds. Are they all coming from the same matrix that you got a few months ago? You sure have managed to find a whole lot in there.

@Al Dente I found this one this morning and I think this is another posterior tooth of a sand tiger.  Do you think I am right on my ID or any of the others above?  Thanks for taking a look.  I really appreciate it.

I would need to see a few more angles on this tooth.

I think this is another Carcharhinus symphyseal tooth.

The one photo of this one makes me think it is part of a fish vertebra.

I think this is a piece of a shark tooth. The bumps are the serrations.

This one is either Paragaleus or a small unserrated species of Physogaleus. Numbers 5, 6 and 7 are all fish teeth.

@Al DenteThank you so much for your feedback.  I always thought paragaleous had to have partial serrations on the mesial side.  After reading up on elasmo it seems that they dont have to.  It seems I have a bunch of these so I am assuming it is a common find.  I will take more pics of that last one.  Thank you so much for your help!

I’m not sure on this one. I see at least one side cusp with the possibility of a part of the main cusp or maybe a second side cusp. Either way it is a fragment of a shark tooth. Not sure which species.

Thanks for taking a look.  It tough IDing some of these with them being worn, symphyseal, or partial teeth.  Much appreciated!
