Spring Creek Park Garland Tx

Hey Everyone, 

 

I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it is allowed to remove fossils from the Spring Creek in Garland, Tx. I have not found anything definite. Might just be tired though.

Yes, you can fossil hunt there.  I found couple of Exogyra oyster at one location, including Pleistocene bison bones and some ammonites toward Richardson area.  It's mostly composed of Austin Chalk cliffs and chalk beds.  Not too much fossils there though.
