I found these small colorful specimens of naturally polished petrified wood, which over millennia were sandblasted by the strong winds blowing across the Patagonia pampas of Argentina.

Undeniably pet wood and undeniably beautiful! Who needs a rock polisher when you've got sand, wind, and time? ;)

They look amazing!  I always had a thing for petrified wood and seeing your finds is definitely motivating to seek some out, though I suspect I’ll be searching for a long, long, long time before I find specimens as beautiful as those.
