Are they any resources I could use to learn about fake fossil identification? I'd rather not trouble the community whenever something piques my interest. Thank you so much! I don’t think it is a trouble and “ is it real “ thread help out other members and guests too who many be interested in a similar fossil. I can add a link for you to make comparison with but before buy I would definitely ask here for advice better now than after buying. We can’t give valuations on the forum Sorry and I have had it for about 15years . There are nice specimens out there at good prices but you do have to wait for them to pop up on the market.
