Fossil? Please help

Hi everyone, this is another find from south america. Does it look like a fossil? In one of the pictures there is a protuberance which makes me think so but I am no expert.

I concur with Rockwood.  They are either crystals themselves, or pseudomorphs, where another mineral has replaced the original mineral and taken its shape.  Is there any way you could pull back a little bit and get clearer photos?
