lil rocks with teeth ???????

found these on a old railroad track looks like teeth , but could be a plant fossil dont know . just sounds cool when people thinks its dinosaur teeth

You can still tell your friends they are dinosaur teeth but you have to wink quite obviously. ;)

 

Though these might look like fossilized zippers they are as stated above cross sections through the stem of an echinoderm known as a crinoid (aka 'sea lily'). The individual sections of the stem are called 'columnals' and can have very interesting designs including 5-pointed stars. Do an internet search for 'fossil crinoid' and you'll see lots of images which will make your pieces make more sense.
