PrehistoricWonders
Hey, I’ve been trying to restore some teeth of mine(and have done two) I was wondering 1. What would be best for reconstruction and 2. What paint you guys would recommend? This is one I’ve done so far, I’m proud of it but I want to learn how to do it better. TIA
Macrophyseter
@mattbsharks is the man when it comes to restoring megalodon teeth. Solid restoration! 1 If you're a fossil nut from Palos Verdes, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, or Torrance, feel free to shoot me a PM!
PrehistoricWonders
Thanks, I feel like I did a good enough job shaping it, but not as good at having it even. I also don’t think I used the best type of material for it.

Thanks!! in regards to materials: for sculpting I would recommend aves apoxie sculpt and any generic acrylic paints should do the trick. Don’t be afraid to let the materials get a little firm before you start sculpting with it since it will hold its shape better. And I never try to sculpt the whole restoration in one sitting. I hope this helps!
