Unidentified shark tooth, please help!

The really narrow and widely flared root lobes make me think something like a sand tiger shark. We'll see what the locals have to say when they chime in. @Al Dente @MarcoSr

I found it on the beach in Topsail island, North Carolina, and sand tiger teeth are very common there. The tooth itself is just very small which is what is throwing me off, but I guess it could just be from a ton of wear.

That’s an idea I had too. What was throwing me off was just how short the tooth itself was, but i guess it could just be from a TON of wear. I’m curious to see what the others think, thank you!
