Lalibelaa
Hi, This is my first post, so I hope I follow all the guidelines... If not, please let me know! This stone was found recently in North Spain, in Leon, near the village of La Magdalena. It was in the top of a mountain, surrounded by marine fossils. I have no idea if it is a stone or a fossil but it is a very weird stone. If you have any idea of what it could be, just let me know! Thank you. Rockwood
I think the wrinkles come from the tectonic movements that built the mountain folding, and buckling sediment layers. The external shape being the result of subsequent erosion.

Mark Kmiecik
It's worth having in your collection. Very interesting stone. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
