BellamyBlake
I have a Megalodon tooth being sold; the seller claims it's from Morocco. I have serious doubts based on the coloration and preservation. To me, it looks more like a North Carolina Ledge tooth. I'd love some more input, please. Troodon
Boy I agree it does look like a river tooth. Why take a chance lots of megs from Western Sahara on the market.

Tidgy's Dad
I haven't seen meg teeth that colour in Morocco. But it's not something to which I actually pay a lot of attention, so I'm not saying it's impossible. Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.

jnoun11
hi this tooth can be moroccan from rabat area , where in some place like tiflet the teeth are grey and not perfect. i make a picture of some moroccans teeth from rabat area. the one in middle come from tiflet area. your question is appropriate because lot of local dealers try to sale fossils from different location in a world for moroccans fossils, same with meteorite and minerals. 2 The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it. sixgill pete
Can we see pics of the other side of these teeth also? Really nice teeth. Especially the posterior tooth. Looks like it measures about 6 cm wide? 1 Bulldozers and dirt Bulldozers and dirt behind the trailer, my desert Them red clay piles are heaven on earth I get my rocks off, bulldozers and dirt Patterson Hood; Drive-By Truckers May 2016 May 2012 Aug 2013, May 2016, Apr 2020 Oct 2022

Thanks for the knowledge. There was too much doubt for me to continue, but on a positive note I found a tooth with a more sound provenance that I do believe is from Morocco
